SMD resistor

SMD resistor (surface mounted device) in this category are mainly at the 1206 (3.2mm x 1.6mm) format also known as Metric 3216. Such size is still easy to solder by hand with a lens and some skill. Kicad do have a special special footprint for hand soldering named 1206_hand_solder.

SMD Capacitor

SMD format capacitor mainly at the 1206 package (Metric 3216) with a size of 3.2mm x 1.6mm. With that size, it can still be soldered with an Iron if you have a bit of dexterity, a magnofying glass and a brucelle plier. A wide quantity of the products available in this category are used in MCHobby project.
