Stepper motor with planet gearbox for precise positioning and high torque
This bipolar motor is fitted with a gearbox with a reduction ratio of 5.18. At the end of the gearbox, it will therefore take 1036 steps to make an axis tour while the motor itself makes 200 steps per revolution.
The output axis is 8mm in diameter (D axis) and offers a rotation of 0.347 ° per step while offering a monstrous holding torque of 18kg-cm (176N-cm).
The reduction box offers 4 fixing holes in M3 and the outlet diameter of the reduction box allows the reduction box to be positioned on a a Nema 17 support (attention, however, the fixing holes are not in the standard location of the Nema 17, you will have to drill other holes in your support)
Each phase can conduct a current of 1.0A at 3.4V, the use of a stepper motor controller with active current control is essential to control the motor with a voltage greater than 3.4V without exceeding the maximum current . The StepStick DRV8825, TMC2208, MP6500 are ideal for controlling this motor.
The two coils of the motor are respectively connected on the black + green and red + blue wires.
