Silicone Elastomer 4x4 Button Keypad - for 3mm LEDs

This keypads silicone elastomer is designed to make contacts on contact pads (just press them).
These buttons are durable and easy to clean, just use a wipe with a bit of water and mild soap.
The feel is soft and very satisfying (when pressed)l. Elastomer button are completely quiet thank to the silicon.

They fell like appliances and tools rubber buttons and are semi transparent so light can shine through the Elastomer. 
The molded button offers about 3mm of travel before contact (when pressed).
The bottom of buttons are fitted with a conductive ring that is used to close conductive PCB pads underneath the button.

These elastomer keypad are open source and easy to integrate into your next project.

Buttons are 10mm x 10mm square and 10mm height. Buttons are spaced of 5mm in a 4x4 grid. The great design allow to tile them into bigger grid (16x4, 16x16 and more).
You can also cut the pads down if you like, the silicone is very soft.

This 4x4 elastomer keypad can be used with the NeoTrellis board but you can also use it to create your own design.
Each button can fit a 3mm LED inside (5mm LEDs are too big). The LED is optional and doesn't affect the 'action'.
Placing a led inside the button will creates a nice backlight button. Diffused LEDs are best, at least 300mcd brightness is recommended.
