Transform your M5Stack project into LoRa node (868MHZ, EU), the Long Range communication protocol for IoT object
This LoRa868 module for M5Stack integrated with the Ra-01H LoRa chipset from Ai-Thinker. This would allow your project to become a LoRa node in EU territory (433 MHz LoRa is designed for USA).
This product cannot be used alone, you will need to connect it to a LoRaWan network (Long Range Wide Area Network) to collect and manage your data send by the LoRa module.
LoRa and LoRaWAN permit long-range connectivity for Internet of Things (IoT) devices in various industrial applications like remote power meter reading, automation control (irrigation, purification).
The extra space available on the board has been populated with a prototyping area, great to hold some extra circuitery for your project.
LoRa is more and more popular and it enables long-range transmissions (10 km and more, depending on the field of view when transmitting the signal). LoRa is a low power communication protocol which is the reason of its popularity.
