This starter kit contains the essential elements to get started easily and quickly with your Raspberry-Pi 5 (without forgetting anything).
The elements have been carefully selected to ensure the performance of the Pi 5, this is why the active cooler is included in the kit.
The pack comes with an official power supply (27W USB-C Power Delivery) capable of developing the power necessary for the proper functioning of the Raspberry-Pi and its peripherals.

This kit does not contain a case so you can select one from your favorites.
We strongly recommend using a case to protect your Raspberry-Pi from accidental contact and to ensure a long and beautiful life.

Usage for the Pi 5 for 4 Gb RAM

Having 4 GB of RAM allows you to consider a lot of applications. For sure, it includes the high definition video (also in 4K) but can do far more than that:

  For an intensive Internet usage, it is better to use à 8 GB RAM version.

The Pi 5 with 4 GB of RAM has nothing to envy an entry-level laptop. 4 GB of RAM will offer very comfortable use with Raspberry-Pi OS. A USB 3 SSD hard drive or an SSD M2 Hat will offer a comfort of use (never seen before on Raspberry-Pi)
The use of a USB3 SSD and the PCIe port will make it possible to take a real advantage of the CPU architecture and the RAM available on the board.

• An official active cooler used to keep the SoC at low temperature as much as possible... the fan included starts to turn and speed the fan on requirement. • An officiel 5V USB type C Power-Delivery of 27W. This Raspberry-Pi PSU can reach a power of 5A (depending on the connected peripherals and CPU usage). This link for more details.
• A 32 GB microSD card UHS 2 (class 10) to explore all the possibilities of your Raspberry-Pi 5. That UHS (Ultra High Speed) is a class 10 SD card offering sustained throughput and great access time.
