Transform your Micro:bit into drone with Air:bit

Create your own Micro:bit drone and control it with another Micro:bit or Android/iPad App.

The Air:bit is programmed with MakeCode (CodeBloc) and allows our young engineers to discover aerodynamics, the design of flying machines, their motorization as well as the use and longevity of batteries.

The Air:bit is a project to assemble but nothing prevents you from improving it by printing your own parts in 3D.

The Ait:bit makes it possible to discover aeronautical concepts such as: Throttle, Yaw, Pitch, terms certainly in English but which will be found in the documentation of inertial units (IMU) as well as discoveries in other fields of knowledge such as :

  • Mathematics : Geometry, angles, algebra, features
  • Natucrafts : Power, batteries, electrotism, radio signals
  • Programming : Variables, sensors, radio, suffered display display, if/else, data transfer
  • Arts and crafts : Construction and Design (Feel free to 3d-printer)
  • English : Terminology, concepts within flight statements / orientation

This product contains the tutorials needed to create the drone's control unit and the remote control (via bluetooth) which takes up useful navigation information.

Programming is done using Code:block with Javascript options. Some advanced tasks such as pain management with sine function, collision detection, yaw management with touch. (Some advanced tasks like suffered-management with sinusfunction, crash-detection, Yaw management with touch).
