RS485 converter + RS485 Alim + Atom Lite kit
ATOM RS-485 is a TTL-RS485 converter designed to be used with M5 Atom.
RS485 is a communication protocol standard defining the electrical characteristics of drivers and receivers to establish the RS485 serial communication bus system. RS485 bus is a multi-point system widely used in the industry. The RS485 work in TTL level and RS485 level to convert signals.
ATOM RS-485 is a great choice for applications equipments being controlled over RS485. The module integrates a DC/DC voltage regulator chip, which can directly convert the 12V voltage from the RS485 bus to 5V (to supply the M5ATOM), so no need to use a separate power supply to power-up the Atom.
Please note that this module will not power-up the RS485 bus, you need have an existing RS485 bus to attach this module to him.
This kit can be used to create RS485 Multi point communication, Industrial control node, RS485 to Wi-Fi applications.
