Need to add analog inputs? This component will add 8 analog channels with a precision of 10 bits (values from 0 to 1023) to your micro-controller or micro computer projects.
It is very easy to implement and uses only 4 digital pins for the transmission of data via its SPI Interface.
This integrated circuit has been specially selected because it represent a nice addition to Raspberry projects. Indeed, the Raspberry have only digital inputs. The only way to make analog readings is to use an ADC (Analog Digital Converter) such as the MCP3008.
