Liquid flux to solder copper tubes
Following customer request, we did added this flux to our catalog.
This S-39 flux is great for soldering copper (drinking water pipes, central heating, gas) or brass you may have in your project.
It is suitable to be used with tin/silver or tin/copper solders.
This flux is also be used to soldering electrical wires (with wondering resukts).
For electronic hacking?
This product can also be used in electronics or low-voltage electrical applications.
The brush is a little too large for working on electronic boards (through-hole or surface-mounted components).
I use a small piece of cotton wool on a pair of tweezers, moistening them with the flux.
As the flux residue can become conductive, it is imperative to clean thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol after use.
I use it for soldering 1206 SMD components by wetting the pads but not under the component (this works very well).
It is not recommended to use this flux under SMD components where cleaning would not be effective!
