6V DC Motor LP, 25D, with 9.7:1 ratio
This is the 25mm diameter gearmotors gearboxes with 4 mm shaft output. As this motor is coming from a pull serie of 4mm D shaft motor, you can easily replace it by another one. Notice that gearbox lenght increase with the ratio. Don't hesitate to introduce a request for a different model.
This motor is made to run under 6V and have a low free-load current (LP = Low Power) making it good for many maker applications, robot or animatronic properling.
Please note that overloading gearmotors will decrease their lifetimes. More the current is important and close of stall current and more the risk of damage is important (even immediate). In order to avoid damaging the gearbox, we recommend keeping instantenous torque under 15 kg*cm.
Stall current can rapidly create thermal damage to the motor winding. One second is enough for damage, mostly for for such motors able to deliver lot of power for their size. A recommendation for brushed DC motors is to limit continuous current to approximately 25% of the stall current.
