Parachute attachment plate for CANSAT V2

This plate is intended to be located at the top of your CanSat in order to attach the parachute

The three standard assembly holes present all around the PCB are used to creates a nice cylindrical assembly.

The 6.4mm central hole can be used to hang the parachute on a solid anchor point of the CanSat structure. The PCB is made from fiberglass which is incredibly strong, you can further improve its strength by adding washers to widen the traction surface of the parachute clip.
Even better, you can use a central shaft/spine from bottom to the top of the Cansat and creates a stronger structure.

Numerous soldering pads are present all around the card (like the ring). These can be used as various anchoring points, including soldering usage.
Combined with a ring, these soldering pads allow you to mount/crimp items between two consecutive levels.

Four (4) anchoring hole inside the rings are also available on this parachute PCB.
They can be used:

• reinforce the connection between the parachute board and remain structure of the CanSat.
• Provide side access to the parachute from inside the CanSat volume.
• provide additional attachment holes for the parachute.

Note:

This product has the code name BUN (hamburger bun)... because in the assembly of a Hamburger, it is at the top without anything above it ;-)
