Test Hooks for probing projects or breakout board
Need some tooling for Testing and debugging a populated PCB? Right, here is hooks probes assortiment that will do the tricks. When pressing them, they expose the hook allowing you to grip component legs on an assembled PCB. So you can easily test connections and probes for signals.
This product is an affordable add-on to create your own probing material.
These Basic Micro Test Hooker have solderable tabs on one end to solder wire, and on the opposite side a spring-actuated double-hook. They will easily snap onto your project! Push a little to get tiny grip, Push down on the test hook, and they will attach to larger components like thru-hole parts, DIP, SOIC and such.
This product can also be used togheter with 2.54mm insertable Test Points (push test-point into 2.54mm header without soldering to have a great ring to connect hooks).
Please note:
- that the hooks are not small enough for TSSOP or TQFP.
- This is not the high quality ones coming with expensive logic analyzers (but they do get the job done).
- You will need to solder wire to the tabs to use them!
