Here is an "all-purpose" prototyping board that makers use.
This prototyping board offers 1-pin islands, which allows absolutely any type of prototyping.
This un-restrictive arrangement also allows electrical connections to be made in the form of tracks by bending the pins of the components under the PCB (eg: resistor, LED) THEN soldering them here and there. This is a very practical approach that's avoids to systematically create all the connections with wire. It will allow to create more complex compositions/assemblies... but will also require more attention to make all the different connections without making a mistake.
In the case of the EuroCard it offers a fairly large surface area and offers connection points for a EuroCard connector with the Eurodin standard (31 contact points).
Please pay attention: do not overheat the copper pads because they risk to peel off the PCB (the pads are not crimped like on a Perma Proto card).
