Display digits and letters with this 4 positions alphanumeric I2C display
Display 012345678 or 9 and ABCDEFGHIJKLM..Z on your display. The whole alphabet available on a 4 digits alike interface.
This nice alphanumeric display shows the have a beautiful green color. It's super bright and can be read from 7m away. The seven green segments + dot on black face are driven by a I2C backpack. The 4 positions allows to make clock and display 4 letters.
Like other Adafruit's LED backpacks, soldering the address jumpers (on the backpack) allows to place several display on the same I2C bus (you can have up to 8 backpacks all sharing the same two I2C wires)!
Some soldering would be needed to attach the LED displays to the backpack (this operation is easy and would not takes more than 5 minutes. Like for all Adafruit's products, you will find tutorial and library to control the display.
