A High efficiency heat sink for Pi Zero
This 15x15mm heat sink make of ceramic and fitted with thermal conductive adhésive are the best you can offer to you PiZero / Pi Zero W.
The ceramic is a material with a better colling efficiency than alminium.
The heat sink (15x15mm) is a bit bigger than the Zero's SoC (12x12mm), which offer even bigger exchange area for the Soc without causing issues with the surrounding components. All of them are smaller (in height) than the SoC (except 2 capacitors that can be easily avoided, see the picture).
The ceramics heat sink:
- are not electrical conductive :-)
- doesn't act as antenna
- are very low profile.
As they are more efficient, they don't need to be as big as aluminium heat-sink. - very light
- Offers a verrryyyy big surface to exchange the heat with the air.
- are fitted with thermal conductive adhesive (Silicone's based adhesive).

About the thermal resistance
Some aluminium heat-sink are rated to 27°C/W as thermal resistor.
For the same 1 watt sink out, the aluminium heat sink (rated around 27°C/W) will have its temperature increased of 27°C!!!
