An 0.91" OLED display with 128x32 pixels
This OLED display uses a SSD1306 drive to offer a resolution of 128x32 pixels. The great thing about OLED is that each illuminated point do produce its own light. The consumption is directly related to the number of illuminated pixels.
OLED display are known for their reasonnable consumption and their very high contrast (as the pixels produces their own light). OLED screen keeps readable under sunny condition and the high contrast make it perfectly readable even with tiny small writing.
The SSD1306 based OLED are very common and very well supported under Arduino and MicroPython.
The 0.91" OLED display adopt very small size with a length is 33mm and height of 20mm. Its small size, simple wiring (4 wires only) and low consumption, this display will be kindly useful in many applications like: Thermometer, Desktop weather display, Kitchen weighing machine, Air quality detector, Mini Game consoles, Wearable display, desktop widgets, etc.
This display can be used with Arduino UNO, Leonardo, MicroPython Pyboard, ESP32/ESP8266, FireBettle-M0 and so on.
Preserve your OLED display
Turn the pixels off when you are not using the display to prevent the use of some pixels too long to darken them, which will cause the brightness uniformity problem.
