A gravity 16A power relay
This standard relais module from DFRobot can be used to control external circuit working at different voltage (or higher current). This relay do have a breaking power of 16A @ 277 V AC and can be used to control a load more powerfull than a fan.
This module is designed to work with Arduino alike microcontroler (using 5V logic) or Raspberry-Pi/MicroPython (using 3.3V logic).
Thank to the modular design of Gravity interface, you can use such module with any kind of 3v/5v microcontroler. The relay is fitted with a LED indicating when the relay is activated. This module can be controled with a microcontroler's digital output. A HIGH level will activates the relay whereas the LOW level would release the relay.
This relay will be suited to controls solenoids, valves, motor and other higher power/voltage devices.
Using this relay is quite somple: tie the black wire to the ground, the red wire to +5V and green wire to the digital I/O (3.3 or 5V) on the microcontroler.
For each order, you will receive a relay module with the gravity cable.
