Solder wick to remove extra solder on pads
During work, it happens that the solder makes a parasitic "solder bridge" between two neighboring pins/connections. This is annoying, often a source of malfunction or short circuit. Getting rid of it is not easy if you do not have the right tool, the so-called "desoldering braid" also named "Solder Wick".
How to use it
Place the braid on the excess solder (or the solder bridge). Then place your soldering iron to heat the braid. By conduction, the braid heats the solder underneath.
As soon as the solder reaches the melting point, the braid absorbs the solder... magic!
All that remains is to remove the soldering iron and the braid... voila, it's done :-)
