Description
Replacement (or alternate) iron tip for our soldering station.
Changing the tip allows your soldering station to adapt themself to various soldering task.
- A large tip (2mm and more) is suited for general purpose electrical wiring, terminals, motors.
- A medium tip (1 mm) would be more adequate for general electronic soldering (connectors, through hole components) and electronic teaching.
- Small tip (0.5 to 0.1mm) would be reserved to higher precision work.
The surface mounted components would be easier to solder when using a tip under the 0.5mm (the 0.5mm tip is the higher pratical dimension in the cms domain)
