Offer a beautiful 3.5" touchscreen display shield to your Feather project! This FeatherWing includes a built in microSD card socket and use a 3.5" diagonal TFT display with 6 white-LED backlight. You get a display area of 480x320 pixels with individual 16-bit color pixel control. It has way more resolution than 128x64 black and white display, and twice as much as the 2.4" TFT display FeatherWing.
Bonus: the display has a resistive touchscreen attached to the display. It can detect finger presses anywhere on the screen.
This FeatherWing use SPI for the display, the touchscreen and SD card socket. It works with any and all Feathers (as stated by Adafruit) however, it will work best with faster board as as the screen is larger (recommanded with ESP8266, ESP32, M0, WICED, and Teensy). Adafruit did place an SPI resistive touchscreen controller which requires only one additional pin to support this functionnalité. One more pin is also used for the SD card (optional feature) that ay store the images for the display.
This Wing comes fully assembled. It as a dual sockets to plug the Feather onto. With the two sockets per pin, you can plug in wires if you want to use the still available Feather pins. Each pin also has a large square pad on the PCB for direct soldering.
