Watreproof Ultrasonic sensor for distance measurement, serial communication

This sensor measure the distance by sending ultrasonic pulse and estimating the time for the pulse to return to the sensor... exactly like the bats does.

Ultrasonic sensors can be used as car reversing detector, obstacle avoidance for robot, approaching detection, etc.

Here is the A01NYUB Ultrasonic Waterproof Sensor which offers far distance, wider detection range. As engineered, the sensor also features an certain penetration power to work in smog, dust situation. The sensor bell-mouth is removable for maintenance, the effective is 7.5m whit bell-mouth installed (even if the sensor is designed for 4m).

The sensor's connectors for transmitter & receiver are enclosed, waterproof and dustproof. The signal processing units are integrated inside the module, the distance data are send via serial line (UART, 9600 baud). The sensor can easily communicates with anykind of host like MCU or nano computer. Managing the measurement processing inside the module is a great advantage since it shorten the development life-cycle.
