Gesture and proximity sensor - 5cm range
The 3D gesture sensor of DFRobot is an interactive sensor designed to capture 3D gesture recognition as well as motion tracking. This sensor can be used to detect clockwise/counterclockwise rotations or direction of a movement.
The sensor use a the GestIC® technology (from MicroChip) based on electric near field sensing technology. Detection of field in 3 dimensions associated to an advanced signal processing unit allows to detect 3D gesture with accuracy.
The effective detection range is 0-10cm. The gesture sensor can be used with your hand, finger to creates interactive projects or no touch interface (inside waterproof enclosure).
