Female connector - 2x3 pins - 2.54mm
Such female connectors are used to make cheap wire connexion for project cabling... or to connected card and breakout having a 2.54mm spacing. This typically used with arduino boards.
The 2.54mm spacing would suit for the prototyping board.
This connector can be used togheter with other female connectors to create wider connectors.
