Whoaw, here is a very nice enclosure for the Circuit Playground Express made to protect and beautify your Circuit Playground board.
This is a minimal but elegant case made with acrylic. The enclosure is designed to snap together and secure the board with no tools. All the button and slide switch can still be manipulated thanks to the plastic widget fitted inside. The case still offer an easy access to the touch pads (so you can still touch the pads or grip alligator clips).
On the back of the case have opening for a ribbon (2.5mm large). The back also include a standard 1/4" nut (like camera pod) right in the middle of the case. Thanks to the nuts, you can use it with any camera mounting accessory to offer secure attachement, precise positionning of your project. You can also use a camera tripod with the case.
The acrylic case is crystal clear, so you can see the NeoPixels shining in the case. The light sensor also works (the case will not block IR messages going in or out). The audio (microphone or speaker) passes through the existing case openings (accordling to Adafruit the difference is barely noticeable).
This enclosure is only compatible with the Circuit Playground Express!
This case will protect your Circuit Playground Express from every day usage but it is not waterproof or weatherproof.
