Paddle switch for retro style project
Rocker lever or paddle switch (18mm lever, 25° rocker) ON/OFF or ON/ON. It is a bipolar switch, so it responds to the DPDT formalism (double pole, double throw).
This switch is suitable for the control of retro project or electronic control.
The lever consists of a plastic paddle 7mm wide and 10mm long (mounted on an 8mm semi-circle). These dimensions are ideal to realize electronic prototyping (or control panel).
This switch has the possibility of contact in both positions, which is why it is called ON/ON (in electricity its named TWO DIRECTIONS).
This mini switch has the advantage of being equipped with 3 connectors (doubled since they are bipolar). In addition to standard ON/OFF use, the latter also allows ON-ON usage. In other words, when the switch is in one position, one circuit is open and the other closed... with the position of the switch inverted, the previously open circuit is now closed (and vice versa).
