A mini intuitive navigation joystick for Microcontroler
This navigation switch offers an intuitive way to add 5 buttons interfacing with a single component. There is 5 switches inside the component: left, right, up, down and 'select' (by pressing down). All the switch have a common ground pin.
The package does not exactily it with a 2.54mm grid but it is possible to push it into a breadboard with a little bending and it will snaps in nicely.
This product work like buttons. So any tutorial about buttons would help you to use it :-)
