A 2x AA-battery pack to power up a 3V project
Make your project transportable by having power pack able to propelling motors. This battery pack accepts 2x AA batteries (alkaline or rechargeable).
This battery pack does fits a pressure clip as output (like those used on 9V battery) for quick power connexion (see this entry level 9V clip). You can also solder your wires directly on the pressure connexions (just scrap the metal before solder) but do it quick enough to avoids the platic to melt down.
The two batteries are daisy chain connected, so the nominal voltage is 3 volts DC with alkaline batteries.
If you want to use rechargeable batteries, then the nominal voltage will be 2.4 Volts DC.
It is possible to use rechargeable batteries but it is not recommanded for energy intensive projects. You can generate higher voltage with step-up regulator.

When soldering a jack plug
If you when to solder a jack plug (not included), please remember that external barrel must be the ground and center barrel must be the positive voltage (it is a standard).
- Solder the red wire to the plug's central connection
- Solder the black wire to the plug's body connection
