Bluno is a Bluetooth 4.0 + Arduino compatible development environment. With Bluno you can sync your projet with your smartphone! This new board supporting Bluetooth 4.0 low energy (BLE) allows you to drive your project remotely. You can go further when prototyping Arduino's based project.

The Bluno integrates the Bluetooth 4.0 (BLE) with the Texas Instrument CC2540 module. It allows wireless programming via BLE, supports Bluetooth HID, AT command to configure the BLE and you can upgrade BLE firmware easily.

The Arduino Uno Compatible is ideal for prototyping software and hardware, the BLE side will bring the developer to a new world of possibilities like developing your own smart bracelet , smart pedometer and more. Bluno is also compatible with all Arduino Uno pins which means any project made with Uno can directly go wireless!
Since BLE 4.0, the bluetooth technology becomes really easy with real-time low energy communication
 
Note on Compatibility: Bluno Family does not support other brand BLE devices since the difference of Bluetooth profile. Read more in wiki (DFRobot, English).

DFRobot did also developed opensource app for Bluno (both Android and IOS). You can modify and develop your own BLE-hardware platform.

In short, you can use Bluno with any Bluetooth 4.0 compatible devices and enjoy features such as wireless transmission, master and slave settings, wireless programming and even establishing a Bluetooth HID connection with the PC between devices.
