50mm 12V ventilator fan (9 to 12V) for DIY project
This fan does have the ideal 50mm square size for DIY projects. Such size is not usual in the industry area. It will be easier to fit inside DIY project case than 80mm square fan.
It can move enough air flow to ventilate 3D printer PSU.
Made by Sunon, this fan is quite silent (not a miracle, but noticable). With 28 dBa at 1 meter, it is not the very silent version of a fan but the air flow does not produce air hiss (usually present on small fans).
Nice result for this 5cm fan turning at 4700 rpm.
This fan start to turn from 5V but it is not efficient (good for leaning / teaching). From 9V the fan will move enough air flow to ven to is really efficient. Nominal voltage for this fan is 12V, voltage giving the best air flow.
