A little dive into the retro world with a 3" handled console
We were very pleased and surprised about this retro portable console and its 400 games. Enough to spend many hours of games.
This is a retro console... so with retro games, some of which are very popular.
The backlit display offers a diagonal of 7.6 cm with a very good image quality. The sound stage does not present any faults on this retro console (completely in tune with the times).
With ergonomics very similar to a G...Boy, it includes a directional Keypad + 4 game buttons. The Select and Start buttons are also present.
The only addition that we noticed is the Reset button (marked R) which allows you to restart the console and display back the games list. The game is selected by pressing the "start" button.
This console is ultralight, so it is very easy to take it everywhere with you.
With a list of 400 games, there are lots of games to try and play! Well, there are a few block busters, a few oriental games and a few dull games and a majority of usual games... it's really fun.
On the power side, this console is powered by a 1000 mAh LiPo battery that is recharged via the micro-USB port of the console.
The sound volume can be adjusted by using a small potentiometer.
Finally, the kit includes an RF audio/video cable. The audio output is necessarily in mono and we have absolutely no idea if it is possible to use the RF video output in our regions.
MCHobby review
We tested this console before adding it to the webshop.
We must admit that we had a very pleasant time while testing it.
In our opinion, it is worth the asking price... even if we only retain 50 games out of the 400 available, that's 50 cents per game... and we still have the screen, the case, the LiPo charger, etc.
It's really good deal.
