Use a PanTilt to create rorating camera & sensor
The assembled panoramic tilt is a perfect way to offer a panoramic view (left-right, up-down) to your next project. The displacement is managed using two micro servo that is easy to control with most microcontroller platforms. Often called "pan-tilt", this tilt can rotate 180° from side to side and rotate up and down about 150°.
It is delivered pre-assembled with two micro servos (type SG-90 or SG-92 depending on the supply) and offers a surface of 38 x 36mm for mounting camera, sensor or whatever you want.
Since it is a real micro servo, you can use any controller or microcontroller card that can send a servo motor signal. On the Arduino platform, you can easily control servo motors using the servo library.
It's a material that is well suited to the beginners wishing to move things or move up and down, left-right.
The kit is fully assembled, you just have to nest and aim the foot of the pan-tilt.
The foot isn't fitted on the pan-tilt to allow you to improve the fixation of the foot with screws/glue if you felt it necessary in the specific context of your project. This reinforcement is not necessary if you are using a sensor or camera... but would probably be desirable if you wanted to move small objects.
