Passive aluminum cooler on Raspberry-Pi 4 - but also a case
Made of aluminum using quality CNC machining and then anodized in black, this case is composed of two heat sink elements taking place above the CPU and under the PCB of your raspberry-Pi.
Thanks to the thermal transfer pads, the heat is extracted from the processor to the radiator.
The large pad on the lower radiator allows the heat radiated in the copper layers of the PCB to be extracted to the ambient air.
Thanks to this process, your Raspberry-Pi reduces its temperature by 25°C during operation (see details here), which avoids throttling phases and maintains the clock frequency at its maximum.
With the Raspberry Pi sandwiched between the two heatsinks, this passive cooler also acts as a protective case for the main components of the Raspberry Pi.
Finally, all the connectors remain accessible thanks to the cutouts made in the radiators.
