Middle level Prototyping board for 4 modules DIN Case

Our 4 modules DIN CASE are available on the shop since ages and it already have a back plane prototyping board (with terminals).
However, placing higher power circuitery togheter with logic control (the microcontroler) is not suitable in most cases.
The good approach is to place logic control electronic at an higher level in the case. It is not a problem as the case still have 2 additionnal levels.

This prototyping board is placed at the intermediate level (~12mm under the top cap, namely the MiddlePlane). This wil offers a very large prototyping area of 65 x 58mm with 550 points. It is very nice to solder your microcontroler and logic control.

This board could be used to place a microcontrolers like Feathers, ESP32, Arduino Mini, Arduino Nano, PyCom, Raspberry-Pi Pico, Pi Zero 2 W (just in size),  PYBStick,  etc.

The prototyping board does feature the following behaviors:

  • Clipable: the board just fit into the case and takes place at the right position and secured with the clips.
  • Power rails: 3 points each, it gives access to GROUND (G), 5V rails and 12V rails. The rails are aligned with the backplane board... so just solder 3 wires between the boards to power-up this board.
  • Prototyping Area: the board contains a large 2.54mm prototyping aread (great for makers).

The DIN Case and other Items are not included but you can easily find them on the webshop.

Tutorials

Using this board doesn't required tutorial. Just solder the screw terminal, the DC/DC regulator as required, and you are ready to go.
