Description
Here is a Stainless steel Z-Axis + Bras Nut mainly used for build 3D Printer.
However, this material can also be used for any mechanical project where you have to move something along a linear axis.
The screw is made of stainless steel and the nut in brass. This combination reduce the friction forces between the screw and the nut (so it dramatically reduce the seizure risks).
Even better, the 8mm Axis has a 2mm pitch square thread. A popular thread mainly used in machine tool like milling machine, metal lathe, boring machine, ...
Using a square thread avoids the radial force (that appears and whised on triangular thread). On a triangular thread, the radial force is used to lock and maintain the nut well in place on the thread... which is not suited for a 3D printer or a milling machine.
You can easily connect this axis on a motor by using a 5 to 8 coupler.

Fir each order, you will receive the thread + the nut.
