The IPC3630 series is an industrial computer based on the configurable Compute Module 5 (CM5).
Depending on the CM5 model chosen for your IPC3650, it will have more or less resources. The IPC3630 series also allows you to add options such as NVMe reader, 4G/LTE+GPS modem, etc.
This industrial computer has the following standard features:

What is an IPC ?
IPC stands for "Industrial PC", a computer specially designed for use in an industrial environment which is - by definition - much less welcoming than your office.
IPCs are therefore more robust mechanically, electrically and environmentally. Like computers, IPCs have powerful processors and embedded peripherals capable of withstanding harsher environments.
So, there are no mechanical elements like CD players, mechanical hard drives are replaced by NVME drives (or eMMC soldered to the motherboard). The IPC is not afraid of vibrations, shocks or temperature variations.
IPCs are also intended for performing specific tasks where desktop computers are rather intended for multimedia use.
In fact, IPCs also consume much less energy, require little (if any) maintenance and are available 24/7.

Power | 1x DC IN, 2-Pin 3.5mm pitch phoenix terminals with screw holes.It supports 9V~36V input, the signal is defined as VIN+/GND. |
RS485 / RS232 |
12-Pin 3.5mm pitch phoenix terminals with IO isolator, which are equipped with electrostatic and surge protection. Different numbers of RS232 and RS485 ports can be selected according to actual application. The signal of RS485 is defined as IGND/A/B, and the signal of RS232 is defined as IGND/TX/RX.

Buzzer | A tip or an abnormity can be configurated according to actual application, which realizes the alarm function. |

This function has been reserved on hardware. But we need additional software to support it, which is under development. |

4G module

Connect with various 4G LTE modules through the Mini PCIe interface. IPC with 4G module expose a second antenna.
The current selection reflect 4G modules allowed in Europe. Edatec can also provides modules compatible for other countries regulation.
