Reinforced touch display screen for industrials and infotainment applications
The ED-MONITOR product range offers multi-touch HDMI touch screens (5 fingers, capacitive touch) from 7" to 21". The display is specially designed for industrial applications and information kiosks (infotainment). These monitors offer a quality display in IP65 case. The Panl is resistant to dust and water projection. If you want to fully achieve IP65 then your assembly must therefore meet this standard because only the framed panel is IP65 rated, the rear is IP20 rated.
Multi-touch capability is provided via the USB-C interface (driver-free = natively supported), making this monitor compatible with Windows, Linux, Ubuntu and Raspberry-Pi OS operating systems.
The monitor has an integrated audio interface, making it suitable for multimedia applications (a jack audio output is also available). The integrated audio amplifier is capable of driving two 4W (2 Ohm) speakers.
In addition to its attractive resolution, this screen offers 16 million colors rendering and a viewing angle over 160° (from 10 to 170°).
Technically, the screen is reinforced with an aluminum alloy frame and a metal casing (on the back), while the touchscreen uses capacitive touch under a sheet of tempered glass.
The screen also offers brightness control via two buttons.
