A 2.13" eInk / ePaper display in red-black-white for Pi-Zero

Inky pHAT's offer a beautiful display with 212x104 pixel resolution. It is ideal to display simple graphics and render text.
Because it's like a sheet of paper, it's readable in bright sunlight.

With the Inky pHAT you can create a cute little clock, display tweets, weather, news on it. Possibilities are without limits.

The Inky pHat has a Python library to display image and text. The library is compatible with Inky and larger Inky pHAT displays.

You can find full details of how to use the library in the Getting Started with Inky pHAT tutorial.

Multi-colour EPD displays, like used on this Inky pHAT, use electrophoresis to pull up and down some coloured particles against the display. The coloured particles reflect light, meaning that they're visible under bright lights. It takes approximately 15 seconds to refresh the display, with a typical 8mA current draw during refreshes. Notice that a black/white display can be refreshed much more quickly, in just a second or two.
