27W USB-C PD power block - Black
Developed for its brand new Raspberry-Pi 5, here is the very first Power Delivery power supply (USB-C PD for short) produced by the foundation.
Of course, it is the recommended PSU to power up your Pi 5 because it is capable of delivering up to 5 Amps, and even negotiate an alternative configuration at the request of the host.
It is important to know that Pi-5 detects a power supply capable of delivering 5V 5A then the Pi-5's USB stack can deliver a maximum current of 1.6A on its ports.
This detail is important when plugging power-hungry peripherals into your Pi-5. It is therefore possible to create a small NAS with several disks without the need for a additional power supply or a USB-HUB (which would limit the throughput).
This is a generic product that can also be used with other products capable of using USB-C PD.
