PCB breakout boards to solder SMD components
The SOT23 format is very widely used. I primarily use it with 2N7002 N-channel MOSFETs which are perfect for 3.3V logic applications.
Of course, the 2N7002 is one of the various component that can be soldered ont this breakout board.
The footprints have been intentionally designed to be larger, making it easier to solder the component.
Just remember to use flux so that the solder wets the trace as well as the component's pin.
The silkscreen markings indicate the standard SOT23 pin numbering. It also shows the labels G (gate), S (source), and D (drain) for use with most MOSFETs.
Simply solder your component onto the breakout board, attach the 3-pin header, and you are ready to integrate the component into your project (or onto a breadboard).
Each order includes 8 identical breakout boards (PCBs).
