27W USB-C PD Power Supply Wall bloc
Developed for its brand new Raspberry-Pi 5, here is the very first Power Delivery power supply (USB-C PD for short) produced by the Raspberry-Pi foundation.
This is of course the Power Supply Unit recommended to power your Pi 5 because it is capable of delivering up to 5 Amps at 5V, or even negotiate an alternative voltage configuration at the request of the host.
Important note: IF the Pi-5 detects a power supply capable of delivering 5V 5A THEN the Pi-5's USB stack will allow a maximum current of 1.6A on USB ports.
This detail is important when you plug power-hungry peripherals on the Raspberry-Pi 5. This PSU is great for energy-hungry devices amd make it possible to create a small NAS with several disks from a single PSU power bloc (no need for a separate power supply or a separate USB-HUB).
This is a generic product that can also be used with other USB-C PD capable products.
