This is the hackable headphone amp from Pimoroni! This Pirate Audio Headphone Amp has an I2S DAC, headphone amplifier, high-resolution display, playback control buttons and is designed for Raspberry-Pi.
Build your "iPod Nano" alike with the all-in-one Pirate Audio Headphone and offers a gorgeous album art display, track info and playback controls to your favorite activity : Listening Music. The Pirate Audio Headphone can play your local audio files (MP3, FLAC, etc) or streaming music from Spotify.
The High-resolution DAC and headphone amplifier are selected to offer the best and crisp digital amplified audio through headphones.
Pirate Audio is a an audio boards for Raspberry Pi (you will need a Raspberry-Pi to use this product) with high-quality digital audio, beautifully IPS displays for album art, tactile buttons for playback control and our custom Pirate Audio software.
IPS displays offers great colors and wide angle of view.
Pimoroni provides an installer software and configuration setting notes to create a great media player for your desk (no battery/lipo support taken in charge by this board).
For each order, you will receive the Pirate Audio Headphone Amp fully assembled and tested. The Raspberry-Pi, SD Card, HeadPhone, etc are not included.
