Description
This Hakko PN-2002 pliers is made of 3mm thick steel and has a flat point "beak". This tool is ideal for precision work.
With this pliers, we are going out of general use to return to electronic use. You can, for example, individually redress a leg of a microcontroller (2.54mm) or one of the GPIO pins of your Raspberry-Pi. You can also remove/deposit very small components on your prototyping plate.
It's not yet a pliers for SMD component but we are not very far from it.
In our opinion, it's the ideal tool to accompany precision cutting pliers like this one that we already propose here.
The product sheet contains a diagram showing the dimensions of the "tips" of the pliers (in mm).
