A compact TFT screen of 2.2" for embedded Raspberry-Pi applications

The PiTFT Plus becomes even more affordable with this small display for Raspberry-Pi meeting HAT specifications! It implements a 2.2" LCD display with a resolution of 320x240 in 16-bit color.
The HAT uses the SPI interface (high speed interface) which make it possible to use this screen as a mini-console, X window port, image or video display, etc.
The best remaining for the end, it takes place above your Raspberry-Pi A+, B+ or Pi 2, which allows to use it with many cases.

The PiTFT mini is designed to connect directly to the GPIO of the Raspberry-Pi 2, A+, B+.

This TFT uses the hardware SPI bus pins (SCK, MOSI, MISO, CE0, CE1) as well as the GPIO #25. All other GPIOs remain available for your own projects (and are available along a breakout line of 25 points of contact). Since there was still a little place, Adafruit has added 4 flat touch buttons connected to 4 GPIOs, these buttons will be practical if you want to achieve a rudimentary user interface. For example, you can use one of these buttons to turn off your Raspberry-Pi.

The screen is delivered assembled and tested + a GPIO 2x20 pin connector that you can weld on the card. Some welding operations will be necessary to weld the connector on your card but remain fairly easy and should not take you more than 10 minutes. You can also replace the female connector with a 'stacking header' which would allow you to have GPIO pins to connect a Cobbler over or a connector "super low profile" to minimize clutter.
