A NeoPixel strand to make your costume or creative projects

Attaching NeoPixel strips to your costume or decorative project can be a difficult as the flexible PCBs of NeoPixel strip can crack when bent too much. By using these stranded NeoPixel dots you can add little dots of color as desired! The pixels are very small, so you can easily embed them into any structure, costume or wearable project.

Each pixel is enclosed in a small plastic weatherproof enclosure. It is not recommended to use those pixels underwater but they can survive temporary for outdoor usage. The enclosure have little plastic hooks on the back so they can be tack-sewn in place.

Each strand has 20 pixels with a single NeoPixell with cabling connecting them (pixel are are 10cm apart).

NeoPixels are 5050-sized LEDs with an embedded microcontroller inside the LED. You can set the brightness of each R/G/B/W. Each LED acts like a shift register, reading incoming data on the input pins, and then shifting the previous data out on the output pin. By sending a long string of data, you can control an infinite number of LEDs. Each LED has a built-in PWM generator so you can set the brightness of each color and stop talking with the LED (the LED will continue to work alone).

These NeoPixel strands contains 20 LEDs. The red wire is +5V, the middle wire is data, and the other edge wire is ground. A small markings on the pixel indicates the input side (which should have a male connector, but if you're not sure, just try both ends)
