The "pin headers" are those funny rows of pins that we encounter everywhere in electronic assemblies and Arduino-type prototyping platforms.
The pinHeader are straight... but sometimes there is a lack of space between two prototyping plates... which is more than annoying. The pinHeader that we offer here is angled, thus making it possible to make connections at 90° degrees. Very handy if you're short on space.
With an impaction of 2.54 mm (breadboard, Arduino, Pinguino, etc. compatible), these Pin Headers are designed to be split at the location of your choice. Cutting pliers or needle-nose pliers will do the trick.
Out of the traditional use, these pinHeader are very practical to prepare its own connectors which plugs directly on a Breadboard or on the various connectors of Arduino.
Among the rather clever uses, pin-headers can be used to prepare:
- A Breadboard power connector (double pin)
- A breadboard measurement point connector (using a banana plug and a simple Pin... really very practical for multimeters).
- Connector pluggable on breadboard for the most diverse sensors (eg: Infrared sensor, PIR, Switch, etc.).
You can use our female Molex type connectors with these pinHeader.
